My name is Jesse Hirons and I am currently the Director of Operations here at Ti-SALES. I have been with the company for a little over 19 years now. Part of my daily responsibility is to assist all the different departments inside the building and the employees that work out in the field. I help them by answering any questions they have and helping them to solve any problems that come up. Our mission is to build and maintain a strong relationship with our customers and to provide the best customer support we can. My current role has a direct impact on that and everyday it brings me joy knowing that what I do can make a difference in that.
I have only been in this position for a little over a year, before that I was the Director of Warehouse for 17 years. In that time, I gained a great amount of experience and knowledge in the waterworks industry. I instituted new policies and procedures to make the warehouse more efficient. One of my biggest accomplishments in the warehouse was reorganizing where are key items were to make order picking more efficient. All the knowledge I gained in the warehouse has now been transitioned into my Director of Operations role.
What inspires me to come into work everyday and enjoy what I’m doing are the people I work with and our customers. Everybody that works here is working towards the same goal, providing excellent experience for each other and our customers. It makes me feel good if I can help solve an issue that anybody has.
Outside of work, I am a very laid back, easy going person. I love animals and have had many different pets over the years. I’ve had everything from lizards to blue lobsters. We currently have a Red Eared Slider turtle that I’ve had for over 20 years and most recently we got 2 kittens that are brother and sister who just turned 1 year old. One of my favorite hobbies is playing golf. For a long time, I couldn’t play, but in the last year I have gotten back into it. It is a great way to be outside, get some exercise , and be with friends.
