Polylok Catch Basin & Distribution Box Seal Installation
Polylok offers the only catch basin and distribution box seal on the market that accepts multiple size pipes. After choosing your inlet/outlet holes and cutting them out, the seal is easy to install.
4″ Polylok D-Box Seal:
Insert a key or other object through the tear tab in the middle of the seal, and tear along the lines to the size pipe you want to use. It is VERY important to NOT cut the seals. You can only tear the seals out to fit the pipe you will be using. Put the seal up to the hole from the inside of the box, and screw the nut onto the seal from the outside. Make sure the seal is facing the right side up if using anything smaller than 4”. Push the pipe through the seal, and you’re all set.
6″ Polylok D-Box Seal:
The 6” catch basin and distribution box seal is already cut to take 6” pipe. As with the 4” seal, push the seal through the hole from the inside, and screw the nut to it from the outside. Push your pipe through, and the easy installation is complete.
Special Instructions for installing corrugated pipe only:
- Remove the 4″ TEAR OUT on the 4″ d-box seal TEAR OUT, DO NOT CUT OUT. (This step does not apply to 6″ d-box seal).
- Carefully cut between raised ribs on back of seal in all places.
- Push corrugated pipe into seal.
