The Model 4041™
Ultra Low Profile Platform Scale is specially designed for weighing
corrosive materials. The base has a rugged polyester dry powder coated
steel frame with sturdy four point suspension. This design allows for on
and off loading on a regular basis. Hardware is stainless steel. The PVC
decking provides a buffer between the steel frame and load to protect
the frame from scratches. Loads may be placed anywhere on the platform
for accurate reading. For operation, the scale employs a NTEP stainless
steel temperature compensated strain gauge transducers. It offers high
accuracy of ±0.5% of capacity. The platform of the Model 4041™ is
available in two sizes; one can accommodate loads up to 24" x 24" and
the other 30" x 30". Tote bins, dry powder feeders, cylinders, and drums
can all be weighed accurately on this model scale.
Three indicators
are available for the Model 4041™ Ultra Low Profile Platform Scale. All
are mounted in a NEMA 4x, UL approved enclosures. The standard indicator
is the 3½ Digit with liquid crystal display (LCD), and standard 4-20 mA
output. Display reads either 0.1 lb./kg. to 199.9 lbs./kg, or 1.0
lb./kg. for weights 200 lbs./kg. to 1500 lbs./680 kg. Optional
indicators include the 4½ Digit, LED indicator with standard active and
passive 4 - 20mA output and two low level relay contacts. This display
has a resolution of 1500 lbs.(680 kg.). The Model 1099™ Chemical Process
Controller is also available on this base, which allows the user to
combine different bases to create a customized Total Electronic SystemSM.
